Hi. Thanks for the question. I think we covered it in one of our videos but can't remember which now. We spent $US 11 per person per day over 7 weeks travelling there. Transport was a minimal cost on public transport. Hope this helps. 🙏👍 Have a great trip.

That's a great question, Tuting1965. I went to the Philippines with my sister in 2014 for 10 days, and we went to Manila, Vigan and Banaue. I'd been looking forward to visiting it with Lee, and we had a great time, with at least 11 more videos to come 🇵🇭♥️ ~ Mandy

Hi Sergio 👋 Yes Banaue is most definitely a popular tourist destination in the Philippines so the majority of the bus was foreigners. It's easy to see why when you get there. I was a bit gutted I missed the scenery en route. For me the journey is just as important and I love to see the landscapes and life from the window. Hope you enjoy these Philippines videos. We travelled in Mexico in 1997, and took local buses... we might be going back next year as want to travel around Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, so there'll be loads of information-packed videos if that plan works out 🙏🤗 We have to stick to a budget of around US $25 each per day if we want to continue travelling full time. That's why we share practical information and prices, as we know how important it is for others who also travel on a budget. That's a great question, Leslie. The airline asked to see onwards tickets when we boarded in Perth, but Immigration only wanted to see our visas when we arrived. We were fortunate to have been able to get a 90-day visa for the same price as the standard 30-day one (I think it was 90 days 🤔) as the Sri Lankan government wanted to encourage tourists, but do check as I think it's back to 30 days now.

So were we 🤣 It seemed a great idea at the time, but we were so thankful to find a well priced Jeepney 🤗🇵🇭♥️
